MEOS GEO met

MEOS™ GEO is a professional multi-satellite receiving station manufactured by Kongsberg Spacetec AS.

MEOS™ GEO met is designed for users who require a ground station that can operate fully unattended and also have the flexibility to add new satellite missions and change configuration easily. MEOS™ GEO includes all functions from receiving data from the satellites to distributing, analyzing and archiving high level meteorological satellite data products.

The system also contains all the necessary hardware and software modules for receiving XRIT (HRIT and LRIT) files via EUMETCast. MEOS™ GEO met supports a variety of remote sensing satellites such as METEOSAT, MTSAT and FY2.
