MEOS Polar met

MEOS™ Polar is a professional multi-satellite receiving station manufactured by Kongsberg Spacetec AS.

It is designed for users who require a ground station that can operate fully unattended and also have the flexibility to add new satellite missions and change configuration easily. MEOS™ Polar includes all functions from receiving data from the satellites to distributing, analyzing and archiving high level meteorological satellite data products.

MEOS™ Polar met supports a variety of remote sensing satellites such as NOAA, METOP, MODIS TERRA/AQUA, FY-3, NPP and future JPSS.

MEOS™ Polar met can be delivered with support for any combination of these missions depending on the customer's requirements. It is easy to upgrade the system to support other existing or future missions, simply through providing new licence files.
